Help Support my Land Stewardship Practices
As an herbalist wildcrafting on Indigenous land, from the moment I started selling my offerings, I decided whenever possible I would donate 10% of my releases towards various local land-stewarding organizations. This is part of my ethical, cyclical and reciprocal practices, to give back and help support the land, as the land gives and supports us.
I donate to organizations that help Indigenous People's buy their land back, and are focused on restoring our local wild forests and wildlife. Most of the wild land in the Pacific Northwest has been sold to logging companies or have been lost to wildfires (partly due to low resources for land stewardship) and we are slowly loosing the vast wilderness that is home to so many incredibly diverse and important ecosystems and wildlife.
WHAT YOUR DONATION GOES TOWARDS:
Your donation will help support my physical efforts, the gas cost and time I take to drive to the mountains in search of the best wildcrafting spots. It helps support my land stewardship practices, like restorative wildcrafting and replanting. It will also help support me as I continue to share free education and make plant identification and herbal medicine making as accessible as I can. Your donation will also help support me as a one-woman show and make it so that I can continue affording to pay reparations and be able to support myself in between releases.
I am so appreciate of any contribution you feel called to make.
Thank you so much for supporting me and these efforts!
